The following terms and conditions will apply to any product made by Zoe Ellen's Cake Boutique.
Ingredients
Some cakes made by Zoe Ellen's Cake Boutique contain nuts. On request, cakes can be made without nuts but may contain traces.
Sponge cakes are made to be eaten on the day of celebration.
Storage
Cakes must be stored in the box provided in a cool dry place. Cakes must not be refrigerated as this may cause the icing to sweat and colours to bleed.
Orders
3-6 months notice is required on wedding cakes and wedding cookie favours. 2 weeks notice is required on cakes and cookies for other occasions. Shorter notice will be acceptable on availability.
Deposits
A deposit of £50 is required to secure the booking along with a signed copy of both the Booking form and Terms and Conditions. Deposits will be deducted from the final balance payable. Deposits are non-refundable.
Final Balance
Wedding cakes- 50% of the balance is due 3 months prior to the date of the wedding. Full balance is required 1 month prior to the date of the wedding. If the cake is booked less than 3 months prior to the date of the wedding, 50% of the balance is payable on booking and the final balance 1 month prior to the date of the wedding. If the cake is booked less than one month prior to the wedding, the full balance is required on booking.
For occasion cakes- The final balance is due one week prior to the date of the occasion. If booked within a week full balance is required on booking.
Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable. 50% of the balance is required if the cancellation is within 3-1 months of the date of wedding. Full balance is required if the cancellation is within 1 month.
Occasion cakes- Deposits are non-refundable. Full balance is required if cancellation is within 1 week.
Viewing
Cakes can only be viewed at a date and time that is prearranged.
Delivery
Wedding cakes- Delivery and set-up is available only in exceptional circumstances and only if agreed. Cakes can be collected only at a prearranged date and time. All other cakes or cookies must be collected from our premises on a date and time that has been prearranged.
We ask you to inform us of any changes that may arise affecting your wedding, for example date, time, venue, changes in cake design/flavour/size or any other information that you consider to be relevant.
